Our Week of Coffee
This past week has been an unforgettable celebration of coffee, community, and connections for us at Moonflower Coffee Collective! We had the incredible opportunity to showcase our passion for coffee through two exciting events: The Best of the North and the Cincinnati Coffee Festival. Here’s a peek into our busy, caffeinated week and all the fun we had meeting fellow coffee lovers from across Cincinnati.
The Best of the North: Honoring Local Favorites
We were thrilled to be named a finalist in the "Best Independent Coffee House" category at The Best of the North, an event hosted by Cincy Magazine. This annual celebration brings together top local businesses from food, retail, and service categories to recognize the very best that Northern Cincinnati has to offer.
The event was hosted at the lively Pickle Lodge and showcased an impressive lineup of food finalists. Alongside us, attendees got to sample treats from Le Macaron French Pastries, Mi Cozumel, Lulu’s Sweets Boutique, SOB Steakhouse, City Barbeque, DiBella’s Subs, and French Toast Heaven. Our booth was setup with excitement, ready to connect with the community and offer a taste of Moonflower’s unique coffee experience.
The atmosphere was buzzing with energy as attendees sampled bites, sips, and treats, casting votes for their favorites. Being part of this incredible gathering reinforced our love for serving our community and motivated us to continue creating unique, high-quality coffee experiences. We’re grateful for everyone who stopped by our booth, sampled our brews, and shared in the joy of coffee with us!
Cincinnati Coffee Festival: Showcasing Our Signature Moonflower Latte
Our coffee journey continued at the Cincinnati Coffee Festival, a beloved event that brings coffee enthusiasts together from all over the Tri-State area and beyond. Thanks to the wonderful folks at La Terza Coffee, we had a chance to showcase one of our signature drinks—the Moonflower Latte—at their booth on the festival’s opening day.
Our Moonflower Latte is crafted with Monte Cristo espresso beans from La Terza, local honey sourced from a beekeeper right in our community, and a touch of cinnamon to create a warm, aromatic experience that truly embodies Moonflower Coffee Collective. It was an honor to share this latte with festival-goers, and we were thrilled by the positive response and curiosity it sparked.
Partnering with La Terza has been a significant part of our journey, and this event reminded us of the value of community and collaboration. Seeing fellow coffee lovers savor the Moonflower Latte and hearing their feedback was a highlight of the festival and made the experience even more meaningful.
Reflecting on Our Coffee-Filled Week
This week was a whirlwind, but it left us energized and inspired. We feel so fortunate to be part of the vibrant coffee culture here in Ohio and to connect with so many people who share our love for all things coffee.
