How We Got Our Name
How did the name Moonflower come about? It all started with the blossoms that grace Moonflower Farm, a charming property purchased by our owner Stephanie Berry two years ago. Acquired from a woman who cherished her garden, Stephanie often found herself wandering the grounds on sleepless nights. There, bathed in the moon's gentle glow, she discovered delicate white flowers shimmering under the starlit sky. It became a nightly ritual for her to stroll the property, pausing to admire the blossoms in full bloom.
Thus, she christened her abode Moonflower Farm and gradually transformed its rustic barn into a haven for vintage treasures she collected during her travels and estate sale excursions. Setting up pop-ups amid her vintage finds, Stephanie invited visitors to explore her curated selections while sipping on hot cocoa or coffee from her camper during winter gatherings. What once served as a refuge for messenger pigeons now beckoned people seeking pieces to adorn their homes.
Moonflower Farm also became a canvas for Stephanie to showcase her talent for home curation. The warmth and hospitality that permeated the farm inspired her to extend that same inviting atmosphere to Moonflower Coffee Collective and its patrons. Thus, it felt only natural to carry forward the name, symbolizing a harmonious blend of vintage charm, artisanal coffee, and community spirit.
